Prayer and Evangelism

Jesus’ disciples asked, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1) and Jesus gave them both instruction and example of a life of prayer.  Throughout scripture, we see prayer as a central part of life devoted to God and in pursuit of God.  From Abraham to Moses to Hannah to Ruth to David to Esther to Nehemiah to Jonah to Mary to Anna to John to Peter to Paul, we see the people of God in prayer.  We at South Lebanon Community Church want to be a church of prayer.  We want to be a church that ‘Prays at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request for all the saints’ (Ephesians 6:18).   The below prayer calendar is one way for us as a congregation to join together in devoted prayer.
