Moving Some Dirt

Pastor Joe found a bulldozer, climbed inside, and declared war on dirt. There’s just one tiny problem: he has no idea how to drive it, and we are still waiting on more commitment forms to roll in!

Prayerfully submit your commitment form by July 31!

Campaign Update - Halfway Point!
July 5, 2026

We have reached the halfway point in our One Church. One Future. Campaign and we have seen God and His people move in incredible ways. 

We received almost 90 responses for the new building with cash totaling $4.5 million dollars and commitments totaling $4.4 million for a grand total of $8.9 million committed or received! In just one week, this total grew by $2.5 million! We praise the Lord for this blessing! Some commitments have already been fulfilled; most indicate payment within 3 years.

We have the month of July remaining to receive YOUR commitment card!  Please consider joining us as we follow God’s leading to serve the South Lebanon Community and beyond.  We believe we have so many neighbors just waiting to meet Jesus. For ease of record keeping, please make your ONE CHURCH FUND contributions in the designated donation boxes (and separate from your other weekly giving)  Or if giving on-line, please designate the ONE CHURCH FUND in the drop-down box.

Water Cooler Talk

Sunday mornings can get a little wild here at SLCC! From sound systems that sound like spaceships to navigating the hallways like a salmon swimming upstream, we are sharing some hilarious water cooler talk about our current space struggles.

We are deeply grateful for everything God has provided in this current home, and we are so excited for what’s next. We can’t wait for a future space where we can have more time and room to connect with one another, give our kids a bigger and safer place to grow, and give our bursting youth group a room big enough for all of them. God is growing our church for the future generations, and we are ready for the journey!

Just like LEGO bricks, we are designed to interlock in unity. Our new building will be a testament to what happens when everyone contributes their "piece" to the whole. Every person and every gift is a vital brick in the construction of our new church. When we connect, we create a space that is stronger, more vibrant and ready to serve our community for generations to come. 

Meet Our Teams

Our three committees - Building, Capital Campaign and Communications Teams have been giving their time, their energy, and their gifts to something so important for the future of our congregation. But we also know this — It's not just going to take a few groups to move this forward. It's going to take all of us!

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Romans 12:4-5
